LONDON: The foreign minsters of Egypt, Jordan and Iraq concluded a joint meeting in Baghdad, where they discussed the war on terror, the crisis in Yemen, and regional developments.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said he discussed with his counterparts from Jordan, Ayman Safadi, and Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, several aspects of joint economic cooperation.
A joint statement said that the ministers discussed economic, regional and international issues of common concern, as well as developments in the region, including the Palestinian issue, the Syrian crisis, the war on terror, and the developments in the
Yemeni and Libyan crises.
Al-Safadi and Shukri had arrived in Iraq earlier on Monday, as part of preparations for the tripartite summit scheduled to be held in Baghdad later this year between the leaders of the three countries.
