DUBAI: In celebration of the release of her new album “30,” British hitmaker Adele is taking part in a television special titled “Adele One Night Only” on Nov 14. on CBS.
However, fans of Adele living in the Middle East can still catch the show, which will be available to watch on local music platform Anghami in the region on Nov. 19, the day that her album drops.
The TV special, which includes a heart-to-heart interview with Oprah Winfrey, was filmed in Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory where a crowd of celebrities, including Drake, Kris Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres, Lizzo and James Corden, watched Adele perform her chart-topping hits as well as unheard tracks from her upcoming album.
“The same way we aim to amplify local voices and to grow them globally, our objective as well is to connect global voices with their fans in the Middle East,” said Anghami CEO Eddy Maroun. “We’re proud to be the official broadcasters of Adele’s special in the Middle East and North Africa and we have more global projects coming in the next few quarters,” he added.
The full set list includes: “Hello,” “Easy On Me,” “Skyfall,” “Someone Like You,” “When We Were Young,” “Make you Feel My Love,” “Hold On,” “Rolling In The Deep” and “Love Is A Game.”
In the intimate interview with Winfrey, Adele opens up about the stories behind her fourth studio album, which is predominantly about her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
The singer will also touch on topics such as her image change and raising her son.
