DUBAI: The UAE health ministry recorded 930 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday marking a two-month low and dipping below 1,000 for the first time since before Christmas, state news agency WAM reported.
The latest known infections brought the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 870,358.
There was one death due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 2,288.
It also noted that an additional 2,689 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 806,286 since the pandemic began.
