DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates announced on Wednesday a cabinet reshuffle, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash stepping down from his position after being appointed as diplomatic advisor to President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, announced the mini cabinet reshuffle in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, which included new two senior officials joining the Ministry of State.

Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak, the former UAE ambassador to Saudi Arabi, and Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar, former assistant minister of political affairs, were appointed ministers of state of the foreign ministry, state news agency WAM reported on Twitter.
Dr. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh also stepped down from his position of minister of state for public and cultural diplomacy at the foreign ministry to become a cultural advisor to Sheikh Khalifa.
